	Unit Appliqué - 6 hours Learn techniques for constructing complex applique units by stitching Susan's English Rose pattern. Or if you wish, you may pick any other design from the book.
	Colored Lily Appliqué - 6 hours Learn to color the flower fabric pieces before appliquéing. In this workshop, only the center block will be worked on. Some experience with appliqué is required
	Mariner's Compass - 6 hours Students will learn to draft this traditional block in the desired size. Then students will use paper foundation piecing to construct the compass.
	Sampling of Folded Blocks - 6 hours Learn how to make a cornet block, a multi-fold flower block, and small folded pinwheel blocks. The blocks can be used individually, or put together with tuck blocks to make a table runner.
	Appliqué Sampler - 6 hours Learn a sampling of a number of different appliqué techniques, including freezer paper, starch and glue, back basting, faced appliqué, and fusible appliqué.
	Stained Glass Appliqué - 6 hours Learn techniques for stained glass appliqué using Susan's Lily pattern. The center block is completed in class, and the pattern includes instructions for the pieced border.
	Design Your Own Appliqué Flower Block - 12 hours Students can work from their own photographs to design an appliqué pattern to stitch. Susan will share some techniques she uses to make this process easier for those a bit shy about drawing.

	Folded Patchwork - use folded patchwork tecniques to make Susan's flower block.
	Machine Trapunto - learn how to get a beautiful trapunto effect without slashing fabric. This class does not require skill with free motion quilting.
	Seminole Patchwork - An introduction to Seminole Patchwork. Susan has designed this adorable egg pattern that can be completed using Seminole patchwork. You will learn how to construct the Seminole patchwork egg and then learn how to stitch it easily by machine to the background fabric.
	Cathedral Window/Mock Cathedral Window - in this class students will learn how to make both the traditional cathedral window, and a mock cathedral window that has seam allowances and can be used for borders and sashing in quilts.
	Clamshell Borders - Learn Susan's technique for creating clamshell borders that can add a wonderful finishing touch to your quilts. The technique allows you to create clamshells either by hand or by machine.
	Crazy Quilt Blocks - use paper foundation piecing to make your own crazy quilt blocks. Students will also be shown how to design crazy blocks.
	Carolina Lily Block - Use quick cutting techniques to cut the pieces for this challenging block. Then learn how to piece the block.
	Foundation Paper Piecing - learn or improve on your paper foundation piecing skills by making an 8" pineapple block. This class is suitable for beginners.
	Faux Chenille - learn how to make faux chenille fabric. Instructions will be included for turning your piece into a pencil case.
